About Vagabond Festival

Vagabond Festival, a prominent music festival brand in Taiwan, commenced in 2019 and is now in its 7th year. Each year, it attracts tens of thousands of attendees. The event features a diverse lineup of performing artists spanning various music genres such as rock, punk, heavy metal, folk, blues, funk, psychedelic, reggae, SKA, electronic, hip-hop, and more. By integrating different musical styles, Vagabond serves as a vital platform for Taiwan's post-pandemic music industry to showcase emerging bands on a grand stage.

Vagabond Festival has become a driving force behind these young and dynamic musical scenes, creating a stunning, entertaining, and dynamic atmosphere. In recent years, amid challenging conditions for international performances, Vagabond Festival has made history as the first domestic music festival in Taiwan to successfully invite foreign artists. Since 2023, we are excited to invite long-awaited Asian bands from Japan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, and beyond to perform at Vagabond Festival!

Features

Vagabond Festival combines music with environmental consciousness. We use reusable tableware throughout the entire festival area. One of our standout activities is the Beach Cleanup, which engages festival-goers in protecting Taiwan’s coastal environment.

We began promoting the use of eco-friendly tableware in 2019. Vagabond has led Taiwan’s large-scale music festivals in sustainability by adopting reusable tableware throughout the whole venue, replacing the use of single-use disposable tableware with a coverage rate as high as 90%.

Use of Eco-Friendly Tableware: We’ve cut down over 313,000 pieces of single-use tableware (2019-2024).

Beach Cleanup: Over 5,217.5 kg of waste collected (2019-2024).
